Grok-3: The New AI from xAI
Grok-3, the latest version of the chatbot developed by Elon Musk’s xAI, is now accessible and currently free for everyone, at least during this beta phase. A paid version, Super Grok, will provide users unlimited access to all features.
Grok-3 offers all the standard AI features available on the market, such as conversational chat and code generation. It is also capable of analyzing and generating images, as well as processing and interpreting complex datasets.
One of its standout features is DeepSearch, which allows for more advanced searches to provide more accurate answers. Additionally, Grok-3 undergoes multiple reflection cycles before responding to improve the relevance of its answers.
According to Sébastien:
“It’s an interesting alternative that positions itself against already well-established AIs. But does Grok-3 have what it takes to compete with ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or Mistral?”

Le Chat: Mistral AI’s Latest Move
Earlier this month, French AI company Mistral AI made a bold move with the latest update to “Le Chat”, its conversational assistant, which now fully rivals ChatGPT.
Le Chat offers features such as image analysis, code generation, interactive canvases, and even data analysis—essentially providing everything ChatGPT offers in a French-made alternative.
Like its competitors, Mistral AI has introduced paid versions. While the basic features are free, PRO (14,99€/month) and TEAM (24,99€/user/month) subscriptions are available for users seeking enhanced performance.
According to Sébastien:
“This is a strategic move that places it on equal footing with OpenAI and, to a lesser extent, Anthropic. Even in its free version, ‘Le Chat’ remains a serious alternative to ChatGPT, offering the full package of a conversational AI.”
A solid alternative—even for free. But Sébastien also urges users to stay cautious:
“Be careful: like all free AIs, your interactions may be used for model training. It is crucial to be mindful of the sensitive data you share!”
