Ahead of Global Industrie 2026 (taking place in Paris from March 31 to April 2, 2026) the GI Awards have once again recognized the most outstanding industrial innovations on display at the show. Here is a look at the five companies that will receive their prize at the fair in a few weeks, plus a sixth: the jury’s special prize.

The Global Industrie trade show opens its doors at the end of March. With 2,300 exhibitors, more than 3,000 machines running live on the floor, more than 130 innovations, and 45 000 of visitors expected, the organizers we spoke with a few weeks ago expressed strong optimism about this new edition, which they hope will be packed with innovation.

And even before the show gets underway, several innovations have already been honored at the GI Awards ceremony.

The GI Awards

Each year, the GI Awards celebrate the innovations shaping the industry of tomorrow and on display at the show across four main categories:

  • Technological Transformation — Innovations linked to new processes, equipment, materials, or systems that are transforming the way industrial production works.
  • Responsible Industry — Solutions contributing to a more sustainable, responsible, and environmentally conscious industry (energy, resources, CSR, decarbonization, etc.).
  • Digital Innovation — Digital technologies driving industrial performance: data, AI, software, cybersecurity, automation, connectivity…
  • Industrial Performance & Efficiency — Innovations improving productivity, competitiveness, or overall industrial performance optimization.

This year, 21 innovations were shortlisted from nearly a hundred applications. Following a Grand Oral presentation held last week, the jury of industry professionals and journalists awarded prizes to 4 industrial solutions and one early-stage startup. The jury also gave a special award to a company.

Spotlight on the 6 winners, who will receive their awards on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, on the Main Stage of the show.
