From NUREMBERG – Additive manufacturing is a growing market, one that is standing technology on its head. This year’s edition of EMO in Milan even devoted a whole area to it.

International companies such as DMG MORI and Siemens were there to showcase their latest hybrid technologies. Tooling machines combining CNC milling and 3D printing were among the major innovations. But new simulation software devoted to hybrid manufacturing is also emerging. The future of machining is inevitably going hybrid.
