Rugged computing specialist Getac is expanding its Copilot+ lineup with two new fully rugged tablets, the UX10 and UX10-IP. Compact, lightweight, and powered by the latest AI processors, the new devices are designed for professionals who need high-performance computing in the harshest working conditions.
Embedded AI for Mission-Critical Professions
The UX10 and UX10-IP feature Intel® Core™ Ultra 200V series processors and an Intel® AI Boost NPU delivering up to 48 TOPS (trillions of operations per second). This enables faster AI workloads, improved real-time analytics, and deployment of applications ranging from predictive maintenance in factories to video analysis in public safety.
Compliant with Microsoft Copilot+ PC standards, they support up to 32GB of LPDDR5X memory, 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD storage, and offer biometric authentication options including Windows Hello facial recognition and an optional fingerprint reader.
Proven Ruggedness in a Compact Form Factor
Weighing just 1.15 kg, both models deliver the durability that defines Getac. MIL-STD-810H and IP66 certified, they withstand 1.8-meter drops, vibrations, and extreme temperatures from -29 °C to +63 °C. Their 10.1-inch, 1,000-nit display ensures optimal readability even under direct sunlight and remains responsive with gloves or in the rain.
Additional features include Wi-Fi 7, dual Thunderbolt™ 4 Type-C ports, an optional thinner hot-swappable battery, and improved energy efficiency, extending operational mobility.
UX10: Versatility for Industry and Defense
The UX10 addresses multiple sectors:
- Defense: drone control, intelligence gathering, and advanced security.
- Industry: leveraging onboard AI models for predictive maintenance and real-time monitoring.
- Utilities: handling geospatial data and image analysis in outdoor conditions.
- Transport & logistics: navigation, delivery tracking, and warehouse stock management, even in harsh climates.
UX10-IP: Hygiene and Safety for Emergency Response
The UX10-IP is specifically designed for emergency services and public safety. Its sealed-button design and washable rubber hand strap make it easy to clean and disinfect between uses, helping reduce contamination risks during peak activity periods.
