Artificial intelligence is no longer confined to the cloud. For industries where every millisecond counts—autonomous vehicles, mobile robotics, smart cities, rail transport or field surveillance—AI must operate directly at the edge, in real time, and under the harshest conditions. That’s where the SEMIL-2000GC by by Acceed comes in. This new generation of fanless, GPU-accelerated edge computers is designed to withstand dust, water, vibration, and extreme temperatures, while delivering the computing power of an NVIDIA RTX GPU.

Industrial-Grade AI Without Limits

The SEMIL-2000GC is built for environments where traditional systems fail. Its fully sealed IP67-certified enclosure protects against dust and water, while compliance with MIL-STD-810G ensures resistance to shocks and vibrations. It can operate between -40 and +70 °C. Therefore, it can deliver performance even in deserts, arctic climates, or onboard vehicles subject to constant movement.

Inside, the system houses NVIDIA RTX A2000 or A4500 GPUs, paired with up to 64 GB DDR4 memory and Intel Xeon or Core processors. This combination supports deep learning, real-time object recognition, predictive maintenance and video analytics. The benefit it that it does not need to rely on cloud infrastructure. This cuts latency and boost reliability. For mobility applications, from trains to drones, the MXM graphics slot guarantees long-lasting, vibration-proof GPU operation.

Designed for Integration and Future Growth

Beyond performance, the SEMIL-2000GC is engineered for seamless deployment. Its M12 connectors ensure weatherproof, vibration-resistant connections. Flexible 8–48 VDC power input and remote on/off switching make it adaptable to diverse industrial and vehicular systems. Optional M.2 and Mini-PCIe slots open the door to 5G, LTE, or WLAN connectivity, supporting modern IIoT infrastructures.

Two independent SSDs with RAID support enable high-speed, redundant storage for mission-critical data. A patented fanless thermal design keeps the system cool under maximum GPU load—maintenance-free, with no moving parts to fail. For OEMs, system integrators, and operators, this means lower total cost of ownership and higher reliability in the field.

The Market Demand for Rugged Devices

From autonomous vehicles to mobile robotics, smart surveillance, and industrial infrastructure, the demand for rugged, field-ready systems is on the rise. Companies are no longer satisfied with high performance alone. Devices must remain fully operational when exposed to dust, moisture, vibration, or extreme temperatures. In these mission-critical environments, any failure can mean downtime, safety risks, or costly interruptions. This is why manufacturers across industries are increasingly turning to purpose-built rugged devices.

Take the Smart-Ex 03 smartphone, for example: designed specifically for hazardous areas, it integrates features that ensure usability under tough industrial conditions, as Sebastian Kaul, Product Portfolio Manager MCC, explained in DirectIndustry e-Magazine (read the article here).

Just as the Smart-Ex 03 redefines mobile reliability for hazardous zones, the SEMIL-2000GC extends the same rugged resilience to AI computing. Both products are aimed at delivering advanced capabilities directly in the field, where they are most needed.
