Built primarily of carbon, the eight wooden propellers prevent electrostatic sparks. The drone is used principally for inspection missions in the oil and gas industry. Weighing eight kg, it carries two cameras (thermal and optical), various sensors, an SD data storage card and an emergency parachute. Xamen Technologies next plans to develop a bigger drone able to carry even more sensors, making it capable of performing different kinds of missions. Purchase price: 80,000 €. Rental price: 8000 € per day.
