Lika Electronic debuts the new magnetic rings of the RMU series.

The RMU rings are the off-the-shelf and ready-to-install solution for standard applications and in cases of replacement of existing rings. They are designed to be paired with standard absolute magnetic sensors available in the market and are compatible with various sensing technologies, such as the Hall Effect and magneto-resistive ones. They can be magnetized either radially or axially and come in an extensive range of hollow shaft diameters from 15 up to 70 mm: 15, 18, 20, 25, 38, 47, 53, and 70 mm.

They are made of high-quality materials that offer excellent resistance to dust, moisture, cooling lubricants, oil, chemicals, temperature fluctuations, and vibrations and feature precisely machined mechanical hubs for a perfect fit.

The high-quality magnetization process is entirely performed in-house using advanced magnetization lines. It ensures high-precision coding and accuracy, is highly flexible, and allows for cost-effective large-volume productions as well as small batches. Every ring is magnetized and tested singularly through multiple Write, Read & Correct cycles until the desired result is achieved.

When requested, our magnetization technology also allows us to design virtually any type of magnetic pole (starting from 500 µm) in several multitrack configurations and accuracy classes, according to needs.
