Danish cobot manufacturer Universal Robots has reached a new milestone by developing over 500 products through its UR+ ecosystem.
Since its launch in 2016, Universal Robots now has the ambition of making it an open-source platform empowering developers to create groundbreaking solutions. Today, the UR+ ecosystem offers a wide range of components, kits, applications, and software solutions designed to meet various customer needs. Additionally, new products compatible with the latest generation of high-payload cobots have been added.
In a press release, Kim Povlsen, President of Universal Robots stated:
“This milestone clearly indicates that we are the preferred platform for collaborative robotics. We have an extraordinary ecosystem with hundreds of partner companies, ranging from small startups to well-established and renowned brands. It is truly a versatile and ever-expanding ecosystem.”
