AI will drastically change the way we work. By now, in early 2026, we have read or heard this sentence hundreds of times, which is probably why in the public discourse it has already surged to the rank of self-evident truth. But while we can all to some extent agree that our approach to intellectual work has already changed since the inception of ChatGPT and the other LLMs, and probably it will change even more, there are widely different and disagreeing takes so far on how exactly it will affect work in the future at a larger scale.
