Fizyr is a start-up specialized in deep learning for logistics solutions. The company’s precursor, Delft Robotics, came first in the Amazon Picking Challenge 2016 in both the picking and stowing finals. This demonstrates that they are offering cutting-edge solutions in cognitive technology for the logistics sector. So what is it they are offering? Fizyr uses deep learning for automated picking and vision-guided robots. The algorithms they’ve developed allow for autonomous decision making in terms of identifica tion, quality control, picking, counting and handling. This combined with integrated vision software means that automation is taken to another level. Robots can handle objects of different sizes, shapes and colors as well as independently identify unknown objects. This means fewer human employees have to spend time on monotonous, repetitive tasks and processes are made more automated and efficient. Fizyr is becoming the new standard for automated logistics processes and is developing worldwide partnership with innovation leaders.
