A Car for Street or Sky

AeroMobil displayed its eponymous two-seater flying car at this year’s Paris Air Show. The dual-function vehicle features aerodynamic design, lightweight carbon fiber construction and efficient hybrid power, combining a boxer internal combustion engine and electric motors. It converts from land to air use in just three minutes, and controls and displays are adapted to both. AeroMobil has a range of 100 kilometers on the road and 750 kilometers through the air. Safety equipment includes airbags, an airframe parachute and a cockpit designed to absorb crash energy. With an estimated price tag of over a million dollars, vehicle should be on the market in 2020.
